This was covered, I think, by the TVR boys sometime ago but I thought I would see what the general opinion is on here.

OK, I'll start with 'Bones' taken from Radiohead's 'The Bends'

Hmm, depends on folks tastes but for relaxing over a long journey it has to be the Nirvana Unplugged album for me

For my favaourite twisty B road it has be Hole Hearted by Extreme.

The Prize by Queen is good for road rage and scaring passengers

Quite like Castle Coombe but I've heard Croft is good if you live up north.

Erm,

Now I see the error of my subject line

I meant driving *music* track but a poll on driving *driving* track is not a bad idea!

For those of us with rag tops, different music is appropriate for driving with the lid on or off:

If I'm driving my Stingray top down then "Gimme Shelter" or "Jumping Jack Flash" by the Stones.

Also "All along the Watchtower" and "Voodoo Chile", "Crosstown Traffic" by Jimi Hendrix.

Top up in bad weather, then "Run like hell" by Pink FLoyd.

"Start me up" Rolling Stones for a single track to hack to, or the entire album "Walking Wounded" by Everything but the Girl, which has some very tastful drum and bass - not the sort that "Bolt-on Boy(zzzz)" play.

come on, everyone knows that tapes left in a car for more than two weeks changes into "Queens greatist hits"
