Charged the car up for 24 hours on Thursday...car dead on Wednesday.(LED on dash flashing but not enough power to open the doors)
What's the test to find out if the battery is duff, or if the problem is elsewhere?
Martin.

Mot sure Martin but is charging it the same as running it to full charge (battery may be fine)?

That's what comes from moving back to colder climates! Your battery doesn't like it. It's saying SPAIN SPAIN!! My 3R battery failed just after it went to its new owner (bit embarrassing) and the M400 battery failed when it was just 2 years old. They are not a big deal to change, just jack the car up and take of the OSR wheel arch liner for access to terminals and clamp. Battery then drops out (with a bit of wiggling) through the hole in the under tray. As a matter of interest my battery was completely s---ed with the sides bulging and yet the indicator showed it was OK. A battery conditioner seems to be a must in the winter on these cars as once a battery has deep discharged there is really no way to recover it.
Cheers
