Are they standard fit ? Are they GPS based ? I pick the car up on Friday, but need to arrange insurance now and the current owner isn't available

Cheers !

There is a good chance it has a Tracker of some kind. Depending where you buy it from there is a chance they won't know or won't go out of their way to tell you, so they can install another one for you .. am I being too cynical ?

Was an option in 05. But should have one fitted anyway.

Lost of different types of trackers out there but I'd be surprised if your car doesn't have one fitted - had three 911s and they all had them as standard.

Depending on your insurance company they'll want to know the exact type of tracker (monitor, retrieve, etc) so make sure that you provide the correct details. Also, sounds obvious but make sure the tracker is activated before driving off.

OPC's generally fit Tracker (as in the company) products so you could try giving them a call with your car's registration plate and they should be able to tell you if a unit is currently active.

Enjoy the car.

Do you know which model of Tracker (Tracker is a make) they fitted? Tracker Horizon is GPS based.
