Just searching ebay and found that there are 53 Tivs for sale yikes There's normally only a handful. Are owners and garages dumping their cars for a quick sale? Great time to buy, shame if your selling.

This says something about NS's handling of a great car company.

They seem to have this new classifieds listing which has started fairly recently. Not sure what is behind it but it suddenly seemed to arrive in one big hit. Maybe there is some tie in with Exchange & Mart or one of those freebies admags that you get at supermarkets, i.e. if you place an ad in those you also get a free "classifieds" listing for your stock on ebay - either that or ebay are just marketing it to dealers directly.

I've been following TVR's on ebay for some time and I think it is just because of the classified catagory. Over the last few months, the number of cars for sale has gradually been increasing. Can't say as I've seen any bargains though.

There's always that number, it normally loafs around the 40's, but it has been known to be up to the 60's once or twice.

As already stated, it's definitely the new classifieds. I personally don't like it, as in some cases there are loads of classifieds and only a few genuine auctions - you may as well just search the Autotrader website. Also, there may be a lot of TVR's on eBay, but not many are selling. I've always thought it a bit odd that you wouldn't dream of just seeing an ad in Autotrader, phoning up and saying "I'll buy it", but many people seem to buy cars through eBay without seeing them first. Car buying has always involved going to have a good look at the vehicle first, seeing the true condition, and then negotiating a price. And if we're talking TVR's specifically, anyone that buys one without seeing it first is either completely mad or just has too much money.
