I have a midnight blue 997S (-20mm lowered)with sports design wheels
on and would like to retro fit the aerokit.
Anyone got any pics of what it may look like after
the fit?
Anyone had an aerokit retro fitted, was all ok?
Thanks

You don't really want to see them. Keep your car as it is...
Your starter for ten................. www.pistonheads.co.uk/sales/88870.htm
Don't do it..
Followed a blue 997C2S with the aerokit on the M25 for a few miles on Friday.
Just screams "Fake GT3".
I'd go for something more subtle like the small rear wing, roof lip, rear diffuser, twin oval tail pipes and headlight surrounds - all from Techart (check out their site). Was quoted £2.5k for the lot fitted a few months ago.

I am not sure it screams fake GT3 to me. If you like it get it done. End of.

I guess its all down to personal taste. I like the subtle look.
Alas, a mistake I've made all too often. While you're being all subtle and mysterious, it'll be the loud feckers getting all the wimmin.
I think the GT3 kit on that 997 looks fantastic.
I have a hot wife so nothing to worry about in that department...
Living in central London the subtle look helps in not having some spotty chav trying to key your car all the time...

Every time I read this forum theres a cryptic quote about a car for sale. It seems that someone here knows the "secret" history of every car for sale in Europe.
Was this the one that is a re-bodied Lada that Barry built in his shed and drove to Antarctica?
I would get it checked out by an OPC you never know what he could have done to it......

I think Dr.S just inferring that it's on sale because the previous owner now has the real deal - in the form of an actual GT3. At least that's my diagnosis.
