Just thinking about getting the 968 back on the road (either this week or otherwise wait till Feb) but I was just wondering what checks I should do before starting / Travelling too far.... how should I treat it on the first run out? Its been off the road just over 2 months currently..... Never had a car off the road for more than 2 weeks before....

Thanks

Tom

I'd take out the fuel pump relay and spin the engine over a few times to get the oil circulated and the pressure up a bit before actually firing it up.

Apart from the above, nothing much. Two months is not a long time.

Warm it up nice and gently, get the corrosion of the brakes and work it through the gears. Stop and check under the bonnet after a while. That's about it.
