Interesting, puts NS in slightly a better light IMHO.

Ahhhh - the old PW debate beckons.

Angel or Devil?

Bet he's not on NS's Christmas card list.

Workers are owed three months' back pay and another three months in redundancy payments.

I'm sorry, but this really won't do.

Where on gods earth do the management get off...

It was not PW who shafted the workforce! It was NS! Just like the investers his father shafted when he closed the Russian bank.

Can't see how. He made an offer he knew couldn't be accepted. If he really wanted to help the workers out of his own pocket, well, we at PH seem to have managed that without involving the receivers.

Not quite the slant in the article.

I'm willing to believe that NS is just plain out of his depth whereas PW is an old bloodhound who thinks that TVR owes him a lot as he 'saved' the Company when at the helm.

made the verbal offer via his advisers to Blackpool Automotive's administrators, PKF (UK), as a gesture of goodwill.

Surely a load of old bollox to try to take some heat off, if he felt that bad then he should have paid them when he had control and could still decide where the money went. He never had and still has no intention of settling his morale obligations in this area IMO.

Honesty up front would have served NS better than a belated and dubious goodwill gesture.
