I'm building a kit car and I need to set up the geometry so that I can get it tested then have it set up properly later on. I've got basic camber adjustment and I can set the toe at the the front and rear.
Does anybody know any techniques I can use to get a basic setting or is there any good guides on how to do it online or recommended books.
The basic settings from the manufacturer of the kit is zero deg camber all round, zero deg toe at the rear and 1/4deg toe in at the front.

Use the settings supplied by the manufacturer as a start. Books like "Race & rally car source book" by Allan Staniforth or "How to make your car handle" by Fred Puhn tell you how to achieve it. Alternatively, bang it together and trail it to a friendly garage with setup equipment. I paid £110 to get mine professionally set up, and I had fully adjustable camber/castor/toe in front & rear. It took them 2-3 hours, but I couldn't be *rsed with the spirit level and string buggeration.
Whole can or worms there, maybe this could help www.wheels-inmotion.co.uk/ The 0 camber and 0 toe reads as an negotiable offer from the designer. Maybe you need to develop your own dynamics from the car.... wim could help if needed.
