Does anyone know how I can convert .RAF files from a Fuji Finepix S5600? I have photoshop CS but the plug in doesn't support my camera in that version. Does anyone know of any other utility I can use to open the images?

Thanks

I hear this supports .RAF, but don't know from experience.

Adobe says CS2 supports it

so... Chances are CS may well do now - I'd get on down there and look for the latest plugin!

Adobe RAW convertor supports your camera from version 3.3 onwards Version 3.6 here but it says that RAW convertor version 3 and above is not compatible with Adobe CS, only CS2 and Elements 3 and above. curse
I know a number of people who have bought Elements just to get hold of the RAW convertor, they then save their images in .psd format and edit afterwards in Photoshop 7 or whatever they have to hand.

The Fuji Finepix Viewer 5.1 comes complete with the software Raw File Converter LE which allows you to convert the RAW files into Exif Jpeg, Tiff & bitmap

Attach the camera with the USB connector, drag the RAW file photos off onto your desktop or designated folder and disconnet camera (or turn off) then access the Finepix viewer and use the tab on the left to search for the designated folder.

Once you've located the RAW files, click each one individually, go upto the file tab and click "Save As" where it will allow you to convert them into the above formats

I learned this about an hour ago on the very same camera laugh
