Actually I quite like both. Depends on where you want to use the images. With the straight one I am unsure what you are showing us as the table isnt the most amazing thing, but too much of the chair and picture is absent to make it a complete image, though do like them being cropped a bit as it leads to a sense of... theres more happening in this room... Hope that makes sense.

I like the second one, but i find the missing top of the chair in the first one annoying. I think if you show part of an object it should be more of a statement - like you did with the chair in the second image, rather than looking like you missed a bit off when framing the picture =)

Thanks for the comments. There's nothing 'behind' the shots - they're styled on furniture brochure shots I saw a few weeks ago

Back to the drawing board (if there ever was one)

I think that this sort of thing could work for hotel web-site/brochure. The first one's jaunty angle probably would not, but the second looks interesting. WB looks similar on both to my eyes (shows how ropey my opinions are) and I'd say the warmer balance is appropriate.

really like both of those - I think either style of shot would look good for a stylish, modern hotel website/brochure.

Agree with previous post about WB - looks off in both, but appropriate for the shot, even if unintentional.
