Indeed, why the Veyron time?
At least the front-engined cars are Porsches.

just thought it was interesting compared to a 997 gt3/turbo, especially given the recent bug threads...
if anyone can add the 924,944,928,968 times, (preferably with provenance) i'll gladly put them in the top post.

This info is relevant in that some of the times are for different length of track depending on magazine let alone full lap or BtG ,Bridge to Gantry

"The original was 28.265 km long with South and North sections; north was Nordschleife 22,81 km long.
The current Nordschleife is 20.832 km long, it was shortened in in 1983. de:Sport auto uses in its "Supertest" the old drive-up at grandstand 13, so that they only do 20.6 km. "

to the best of my knowledge full NS laps, most are on 22.8km track, average speed is included in the more accurate ones for better comparison...

8:30 ? well i included it but are you sure? faster than a '92 turbo, hmmm

Isn't this the guessed figure based on Walter saying he reckoned it would be 6 secs faster or something? The measured figure doesn't seem close going by the other details in that list.

Cheeky!

(I notice that there is a 944 turbo time in the original list, I didn't see it first time I read it. However, other 924/944/928/968 times would be welcomed as well - particularly for the 944 S2.)

Well a mate of mine (Cheburator her on PH) does 8:20 BtG in his 928 GT with passenger ,same engine/power 330bhp & he's a crap driver ( Alex)
Whats a 'ballpark' time to add on to change a BtG to a full lap ?

These times are not very specific...in fact I'd take them with a pinch of salt.

The one for the 944 Turbo has just had time added to it, it was also on MPSC tyres and running about 275bhp
