I quite agree. I have emailed all the dailys and the BBC and ITV local news pointing out that they have very often failed to report on this comedy of errors or reported the facts inaccurately!

The fact that the majority of the workforce have been laid off WITHOUT PAY since 13th November has gone virtually unreported even the Blackpool Evening Gazette has missed that point in tonights edition.

Whilst I have every sympathy with the workers laid off (for want of a better description) on the 22nd December I have to say welcome to our world and I dont remember you standing up for us at the time we were laid off!!!

Don't think you can compare whats happened at tvr to the farce at farepack. Media will always go for the bigger story, I mean 150,000 people loosing millions of pounds on the run up to Christmas! Which story would you give the headlines.

There was an article yesterday in the Companies section of the FT on the administrators, BA/TVR brand name etc. Well worth a read, if only for the description of TVR's as "brutally fast" hehe

Now here - www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?t=341322&f=13&h=0

There should have been National Press for the last 6 months of TVR plight.

The workers have been shat on from a great height because the story is not one of vested interest to the Politicians.

There was a small article on Page 5 of the Mail on Sunday's Financial Mail section last weekend - 31st December.

Most space was given to a picture of NS & the TVR's in Whitehall.

Here here...

You have to understand that with something like this if the goverment CAN get away with just ignoring it, they will!

Thesedays issues like these need to be hijacked by a paper or a celebrity basically. This is the labour party, you won't get a peep out of them unless it is suitably worth their while... Doesn't suprise me one bit that they have ignored all that has happened.

It was offered to all the Broadcasters ,and sadly it is down to the Editor of the day if he or she deems it news worthy. Some Internet News providers did run it all day and some Satelite News Providers used it.Its as we say "shelf life" (Sorry ! there is no other way to put it).My best wishes to the TVR workers.

Both of today's "Independent on Sunday" and "The Sunday Times" are carrying large articles on the collapse and the events leading up to it. Ralph Dodds has even been sought out for the TVRCC's opinion by the "Independent"

Oliver.
