I'm looking for breakdown cover for my T350T.

I've looked at RAC, AA, Tesco etc. (currently with Tesco).

I was wondering if there are any compelling reasons to pick one over the others?

Choose the AA and then take out the parts and labour insurance(£58 for 3 ocassions in 12 months - max £500 per claim). They've paid out twice for me.

I've found the RAC to be superb. Have NOT had to use it for the TVR!
Doubtless others will favour AA etc:

I use the RAC, although in the 4 years I've been with them I've never 'renewed' my membership but bought a new policy off the internet because it works out cheaper rolleyes

I will never use the AA again after they buggered us around after my Mrs had an accident and ended up in a hedge. I called to tell them not to send an escort van (yes, it was that long ago) because it wouldn't be enough to pull the car out. They completely ignored me and sent one anyway. Then had to send for a towtruck when the van couldn't pull the car out. It took about 6hrs in the middle of winter to recover the car which was 15mins from our house.

Thanks for the replies.

I was considering the AA cover and then the Breakdown repair cover on top.

I'll also see what options there are on my insurance.

I stopped using RAC after taking the wife's car to the nearest local franchise garage rather trying to effect a roadside repair.

I got the feeling that the patrol man was more concerned in meeting response times rather than helping at the roadside.
