Best ECU?

My factory warranty has just expired and I am looking to make some upgrades. I was hoping some of you guys could recommend a good ECU upgrade and performance air filter for a 2003 996 TT x50.

Why would you discourage the ECU upgrade? Ive heard it can increase HP by about 75 horses and is completely safe.

I cant say that it is sluggish, but who couldn't use more power in 3rd, 4th, and 5th gears.

Its all laptop and secret squirrel stuff now.... there are some tuners and i will probably do mine when i get around to it from maybe JZ or a bloke who i met, he blew me a BMW 325 chip. ( i think he did Lonmans GT2)

Speak to the guys at DMS,they have done loads of tt's with great results.

If you try and do that im sure it will get spotted very early
