Dear all,

You may have read about previous max speed runs & fun had on the 2 mile straight.

A few of us at work have booked Bruntingthorpe to go again and have some fun.

It is looking like we may have limited space available if any of you are interested in coming along.

The day is Sunday April 27th and will be from around 11am to around 4.30 pm, will probably involve around 6 maximum speed runs, these will be electronically recorded and also then displayed on electronic boards around 100m after the speed traps.

We currently have varying cars going from TVRs, Porsches, Ferrari's to a replica Cobra and a few other interesting cars.

If you are interested please drop me an email, it should be good!

I'd imagine with the weight savings with your 2wd, once you get the power down you'd be pretty high up the speed table.

Be interested to see how you faired against the 996 Turbo, the Cerberas and the Ultimas. Got a Ferrari 512 TR coming too, that will be pretty fast I expect.

Come on Tifosi. We need a bit more hard driving and a little less posing and polishing from the members of this forum. Anjum excluded from that statement naturally.

Craig, apologies if you've already answered these questions elsewhere, however on the 27th at Bruntingthorpe:-

- are helmets required ?
- are there noise limits ?

I tend to be very superstitious about announcing things before they are completely "final". However, it would not be outside the realms of possibility that my "fantasy car" was to become a bit more than that.

Oh God; do I hear the glorious throbbing of twelve horned cylindrical explosions heading towards the county of Leicestershire?

It would be a most suitable venue for the vehicles unveiling , even though it's not a sanctioned official PH event, I'm hoping a few of the usual suspects will be in attendance.

DAZ

PS - Craig. Any chance of a list of definite PH attendees.
