I'm currently specing up my mini to become a hillclimb car. One job on the list is fitting a rear beam as the rear alignment is really far out and I can't fit camber brackets as the trailing arm mount captive nust are knackered.

Once the beam is fitted I am intending on removing some of the boot floor for weight saving, has anyone done this? Anyone got any pictures of how much you can cut away? I assume the battery goes in the cabin, but where does the fuel tank go?

The knackered nuts are the ones on the subframe, not in the sills.

Just had a quick look at the CF boot floor, comes in at about £100, so that may be an option..
