Just wondering if anyone else here is aware of this fantastic series? There's a test day on April 10th at Silverstone. It's fantastic for someone like me, who loves Group C but is too young to remember them, to see the cars racing. the website is www.groupc-gtpracing.com

Sounds amazing. Is this the same race that supported a few BTCC rounds last year? (Brands and Silverstone, for example??)

Sounds wonderful.

top series, they were at the Coys festival in 2001 at silverstone. lots of porker 956/962s, Jaguar XJR6-14s, some IMSA stuff and some Spices and other things basically anyhting at Le Mans between 82 and 94 IIRC. go watch them, they driver these things like they nicked 'em!!

Highly recommeded to all pistonheaders.

I saw a historic group C race at Donnington last year, in the wet
Watching a few million quids worth of metal come nose to tail down to the crainer curves was an amazing site

You should have been standing under Starkey's Bridge. Justin Law putting two wheels on very wet grass lapping a Harrier with Nathan Kinch right on his tail was an amazing sight. Its amazing to see how its grown in four years. I was there at the first race at Donington in 2000 (i think) and there was only 5 Group C/IMSA cars out. It's a great series, and they are raced flat out.
