Decent Compact Digital Camera.

Hi I'm looking at upgrading my current Digital Camera (Kodak DX4330) which is quite old now and fairly out of date - www.kodak.com/global/en/service/publications/urg00039toc.jhtml?pq-path=10/3905/3921/745/1610

Any way I want a new compact camera, which will be able capable of taking half decent motorsport pictures, I was wondering if there were any about which might do the job? Looking to spend circa £150, below is the size / style I want;

What features should I be looking at?

IMHO compacts don't do motorsport that well. Shutter lag, lenses that shreek when you extend them to max and (usually) an inability to set the ISO.

If you can stretch to a 'prosumer' or even second hand DSLR - you'll get much better results.

Having said all that www.DPreview.com is a good place to read reviews of the best compacts

Thanks for the offer but thats not really what I'm after! I want a compact camera which will take a half decent shot of a moving car! I'm not after crystal clear image but something better than what I can manage at the moment! (I will try to post my best picture from my current camera!)
