Did a very similar thing, after hours of web browsing went up to Tott Ct Rd. intent on buying a Fuji F31D, came away with a Canon Powershot A640!
So much wanted a tiny camera to slip in the pocket but being of senior years found the cute size awkward to handle and didn't like the loss of a viewfinder. The Fuji has attracted some rave reviews but at the end of the day if the camera aint comfy in my hands it's a no brainer.
