It arrived! Ive just taken a few shots with it and love it.
It feels a bit like the xpan because of the titanium body. The handling is superb (it shoots in full auto or aperture priority), the viewfinder is clear with the information well layed out, and the sonnar 2.8 zeiss lens is legendary. SLR quality from a tiny P&S. rock and roll.

Who else is getting what toys from santa this year??

I'm not getting anything for christmas but I recently treated myself to some portable studio flashes and a 24-105 L. Did a photobox photobook for Lynne for christmas, 2 pages for each month of lewis's life so far (he was 2 on the 21st).

Excellent.

Santa will be bringing me a nice 17-40L lens and as a special treat to my self I just bought some sucky pods things and some super clamps.

I'm getting something very special for Christmas. Its in my study behind me now, but I'm not going to play till Xmas day! Just about to wrap it up for myself. wobble Is that sad?

I've managed to refrain from buying expensive stuff for myself this year... I did however prime all the relatives with a list of presents I wanted - got most of them, notably absent were the ND grad filters I wanted, so that one will have to be self funded.

Macro bellows (with 50mm f/1.8 attached)

Some books, for inspiration

The nephew's first christmas, he was much more interested in the flash on top of the camera than any of his presents!

Far too many of these consumed!

Very nice. As used by HM The Queen

An ex-colleague has one & I had a quick play with it. Really feels a quality bit of kit.

Respect bow.

I could post a pic of my present but didn't think anyone would be interested in a pair of socks.
