997 GT3 Tyres

I know its early days yet, but with my car having just arrived in the compound of my local OPC (see previous threads) I've noticed its fitted with Pirelli Corsa's rather than the factory stated Michelin Cup tyres. Does anyone know why the change and if it makes any difference in handling etc, especially in the wet?? Should this be a concern ?

Thats a bit of a surprise. I enquired at the place where i buy all my tyres last week and they said that the corsa's for the GT3 or RS were not available in this country yet - only the Pilot sports. I was not planning on swapping my tyres, but more just being nosy.
