How dark is 'graphite grey' on a 996 ?

Seen a few pics of ones to buy and they seem to vary from a very light grey (like marble grey) through to charcole colour. Guess that's just the camera's light adjustment playing tricks, but is 'graphite grey' a really dark grey - almost black or not ?

I think the options are seal or slate grey, slate being slightly darker & rarer, dont think there is actually a colour called graphite.

Mrble and Graphite grey are the colours of the interior trim - or at least they used to be.

If you are referring to interior trim -- the Graphite Grey is most definitely NOT a near-black colour.

I believe I've got "graphite" leather in mine, and it's dark. Not near black, but not that very light grey you see around. I think that light grey might be called "Space Grey".

Or it could be the other way round.

Classic Grey is dark grey, Graphite Grey is light, about as light as the grey used in the Pistonheads reply box.

exterior grey colours are seal, slate and atlas.

atlas looks in the main to be the darkesk and most like black

Cheers for all this wisdom! Also found a few better pictures on Paragon's web site. Now I know I definately don't want graphite grey (or the other lighter one). It's going to have to be black for me - which is a bit of a ****** as it means there's less to choose from. Hopefully get one before 2008.
