S Club Heaven update

I thought I'd mention a couple of possibilities for the venue for next years S-Club Heaven.

1 Transport museum in Coventry - they have an area that would hold us and are enthusiastic about us coming. Need to sort out a wrinkle about licenses for the traders. City centre location so the hoon might be fun

2 Prescott Hill Climb - The TVRCC speed championship go there on the 22nd July and it would be good to piggyback on it. Possibility of a cavalcade up the hill at lunchtime for "interesting" cars. Snag is there will be an admission fee of £?? (ca £10 depending on numbers).

Anyone got any comments, especially about the admission charge.

I've never been to Coventry Transport Museum, so it gets my vote, especially as it's indoors.

After last year, I don't fancy the prospect of standing in a muddy field (and I got soaked at Prescott earlier this year).

I like the sound of the Transport Museum, plenty of stuff to do and see. Presumably not to far away from the city centre for shopping etc.

As I recall its quite a way from the City Centre, which to be honest isn't a bad thing...

Coventry gets my vote, sounds interesting and out of the ordinary, Profstoff, can I pitch a tent??? just to make it homely for clivef and me Of course if it`s a two day event then overnight accomadation will be req`d.

Coventry seems pretty good to me and fairly central for most people.
The museum is inside the inner ringroad and a short stroll from all the delights of shopping!!!!!!!!! plus plenty of interesting vehicles to wander round and admission is free so it says in the blurb, they might charge for parking though?

Prescott is a PITA to get to, so Coventry gets my vote.

Chris, with Coventry being pretty much in the middle so easy accessible plus the opportunity for a big convoy from darn sarf, it gets my vote. I personally think any admission fee is going to deter some people!
