M62 j 21-j24 closed, suicide?

Looks like a chap jumped from the bridge at junction 23. I must have just missed him jumping (fortunately) as the motorway was shut just after I drove past him, and there were only a couple of police vehicles there.
He was lying inbetween the barriers so it apears he was trying to avoid hitting any vehicles or causing much disruption??
Still its going to be shut for several hours now.
