Modern auto minis driveshaft question
Discussion
I may have got myself an LSD with HS outputs today. I'm not just about to start a cash war with the "S" rebuild posse and the japs over a set of hardy spicer shafts. When I ripped the engine out of a 1967 mini auto, I put the HS shafts on ebay (£££££££ and wondered if I am likely to find HS shafts on later auto minis or an allegro, 1300, etc, etc.
Anyone got any ideas?
(Bloody hell, a load of stunning women have just walked into my house!!!! )

the early shafts are easy to find, any mini pre 72ish wih have the chunky spline type required to run either the maltese cross or the hardy spicer joint.
the hard to find part is the hardy spicer joint.
if you need just the shafts i should have a pair you can have for beer tokens - i had loads of them at one point and found a use for old then as drifts and tools for working on plant.

I think I have a set of S shafts and Hardy Spicer joints in my shed somewhere, will have to dig them out if they are worth something.
The auto minis (mk1) had them as standard. I got more for the joints/shafts (on ebay) than I paid for the whole car. Totally barmy really.
Here's a scenario, I bought my 64 mini for £800, shell was ROTTEN and repaired using polymers as I found out later (didn't take a magnet along when I bought it) so, I ended up breaking it on ebay (keeping the dry subframes and running gear). The stripped remains of the shell got £300, the rest of it sent me pretty much to about £2K in total. It's a double edged sword as now the freeads/adtrader papers only have a few items once in a while.
I would argue that it's driven up the price of autojumble in general.
