Hi everyone. Being new to PH and having followed all threads on the 997 GT3 since I placed my order back in July this year I have something worthy to post. It has arrived !! Eventually with a build date set for 30 November the car has arrived at my local OPC today. Seeing it in the flesh for the first time, all I can say is WOW!!!, and I have'nt even sat in it yet. Will collect car early January due to registration timing. In the meantime I will post pictures taken this morning when it arrived.

Don't mind anyone dissing the GT3 for its driving aids and so on - especially me. Having something worthy to post doesn't factor into my thinking at all. hehe Look forward to seeing the pictures, and congratulations.

Well done, the next 2 weeks must seem a while off but should be well worth the wait by all accounts !!

On the subject of taking delivery, did you happen to notice the delivery miles on the car ??
Is there any reason for anyone to take these cars out on a 'test drive' as part of the preparation, I know this gets done at the factory, although I suppose they may have to fill it with petrol.
Call me paranoid, but I'll definately be checking the mileage on mine on arrival in April.

How can you do this to yourself? My word, I would not be able to survive the coming two weeks if I was in your shoes...

I'm thinking that exactly myself!! There's no way i want mine 'test driven' by the local OPC. I want a full tank of juice in mine but dont even want them to take it to the petrol station!!

Has the rain washed the colour off your new car - it looks like its gone white to me evil
