Folks,

Advice welcomed please.

Long n short:

5am, Wandsworth Rd, I parked my car ( not the 997) roadside and opened my door and smacked in into a passing articulated truck's trailer, it was so long and low that i thought it had passed me. Anyway, i got away lightly with only the edge of the door being scraped and pressed inwards. Who would be the people to trun to please to mend the door damage?

thanks.

What car was it? Not a 997, OK, but a 996/928/Ford Focus/Robin Reliant ...

How old and what is the damage? (Mk4 or earlier, and anything which involves more than a bit of paint, and I'd be looking at getting a door from a scrappie and finding somewhere to spray and fit it.)

Golf GTI.

I'd take it to VW main dealer who also has a bodyshop, say Blackburn.
I've heard they are very good
