I haven't posted any photos for ages so thought it was about time.

There was also a small matter of not being allowed to post these until this week.

Last month I was lucky enough to be able to join evo magazine on the main test that appeared in the 100th issue out this week. Had an amazing couple of days in North Yorkshire and got some decent shots imo.

The full gallery is here:

But I though I would post a couple of highlights.

Hope you like them. Any comments welcome.

I like this one, not sure if it was an accident or planned. Probably shouldn't even work but it does (well for me at least)

I love them!

Number plates though - some won't be keen to see them posted.

The older 911 I can understand blanking the plate, but the new GT3 was on 5th Gear with that plate on and is the press car so its not exactly a big secret And I doubt theres too many other white GT3's...

I thought about sorting the number plates (and I have done on the Flemke's McLaren in line with the mag) but as has been pointed out, all the other plates are clearly visible in the magazine article so changing mine would be a bit futile.

I like that one of the rear of the GT3 too. It basically was an accident as it was during a burst during a pan but it does seem to work well even though it is not 100% sharp. Bit different too.

I have no qualms with being called any names. I was very very lucky to get on such a good shoot.

Glad people are liking them

Well I can certainly read Flemke's number plate in pic 8657 unless that is not the real plate.

As I said, I have altered Flemke's plates to a nonsense plate just as the mag did. The same nonsense as it happens.

I'm guessing its purposefully a plate which would never be made? I don't think you could ever have an "N011" plate...

Nice pictures by the way, it must have been fun being able to hang around with all that exotica!

Hi Matt its dave_golf_rallye from the evo forum! Pics are absolutely superb, what an opportunity to have - so jealous! Top porker pic is superb, I also like the back end of it in the motion shot. Great job and would give my right arm to have shots like those in my portfolio!

I don't think you've thought that statement through, you couldn't take any more photos if you didn't have your right arm hehe

First one of the 911 is a cracker. Some fantastic machinery there indeed.

Some good shots, but why so few after a weekend of shooting?

I was mainly there to help the other photographers and could only shoot stuff that was not in use or passing by. Hence not being able to choose locations and get set ups absolutely spot on (wheels facing wrong direction etc).

Upshot being that I got a lot of repeat shots.

Decided I couldn't be arsed posting them all, besides, some aren't that great.

Quality not quantity ;
