Sent off for a photo book for the wifes xmas from Lewis. 2 pages for each month of Lewis's life so far (hes 2 on the 21st) the paper is not profiled so was rather pleased to find colour representation is not bad, lacks a bit of saturation though, and quality of print is their usual good stuff. book is bound well and cover hard. well worth it for a special gift

I sorted one out for a friend's birthday party I'd snapped (casual, like, rather than a proper shoot). I was very impressed with the way it turned out, even with the images from the disposables she'd left on the tables.

Went down a treat.

One point about these books which is obvious really, but it took me a while to spot so I shall pass it on. I didn't like the fact that there are only a certain number of layouts available on a page, and some of these crop the photos unavoidably. The workaround is to make you own layouts in Photoshop, upload these as jpegs to Photobox and use the full bleed photo page layout option to fill the page with your jpeg of a page. It's more work obviously, but you can then have whatever page layout you want.

Tried both Photobox (who we use for all our pro printing now by the way) and www.myphotobook.co.uk for books.

Must strongly recommend www.myphotobook.co.uk - they have a very small app and you compose the entire book (loads of different sizes and no. of pages to choose from) on your PC and then upload the entire thing at the end. There is TOTAL flexibility in layout and the results are excellent.

I gave a photobox book for Chriatmas and it was very well recieved I agree with what has been said before about the pages could be a little thicker though to really have an art book feel.
