This might have been the same clip that resulted in Fuji TV contacting the TVRCC and visiting Luca Brazzi and I many moons ago, along with Tom from Ride Drive. It certainly looks like it. The interviewer spoke no English and spent ages starring in amazement at Luca's Tuscan and doing bits to camera. This included 10 minutes trying to work out the Japanese for door handle, since the Tuscan doesn't have them. Late in the day, Luca took him out for a little run, to demonstrate the Tuscan's capabilities. I had an Aussie cameraman riding with me, filming him. The poor chap looked like he'd aged about ten years after that brief stint, he'd obviously never been in anything much faster than a bus before.

[quote=frazer guest]plenty of unfounded assumptions by morons, (on streetfire, not PH).
i was in japan when this incident happened in 2003 though i did not witness it,i was told that the driver was a japanese actor and at the time they were filming for a mini series/film, the actor had not driven a TVR before and this was the result quite horrific.

Those were the best of days matey....simply staggering levels of fun were had. As soon as I get a new domain, I'll put up the video of that piece of entertainment.
