Radford de ville interior
Discussion
As you prob know I got hold of a Radford De ville interior a short while ago, there are pics of it below.
I bought it considering using it for a 60's cooper restoration, but tbh I want to stay original, this is a real Radford interior so is incredibly rare especially in the condition it is in. I doubt there is another one of these floating around anywhere out of a car.
Condition wise its very good. the leather is in great condition, I have to restitch a couple of 6" sections at the back end of the seams on the drivers seat but they aren't visible anyway, the passenger and rear seats are excellent, the frames, squabs and diaphragms are brilliant, and the seats have a nice patina of age, would be a shame to recolour them really.
Really just to let people know I've stuck an advert in the for sale section, its one of those things that will not be easy to sell, as its so specialised, and I would like it to go to an enthusiast instead of ebaying it.
The interior seems to have an interesting history, the cooper s it came out of was originally registered to one "Michael Jagger". I'd love to think it was the Mick Jagger but even I find that one hard to believe lol!

My late father had a Radford Cooper S. He was a well known musician back in the day too.
I have a couple of picts of it, but they are not very good (old polaroids). Somehow I picked up the love for Mini's, and ive got a Wood & Pickett one in my garage now.
Both companies are still going now too. Although they dont seem to do quite such extensive work as they used to.
As for my late fathers Radford Mini. It was stolen, and later returned, in bits..
Have you got any other interior parts? Dash? door cards?
P,

P,
No these are all I have, but they are also the hardest bits I suppose, door cards would make up quite easily from a good trimmers, dashboards are a nightmare for mini's there are so many different ones, from memopry didn't the radfords use a full width wood dash, and from memory had a different heater etc, to fit the lower dash rail had to be cut out and modified, saw one for sale a while ago before I bought this, if I'd known I'd have bought it!
