My great aunt has a Mini 100 auto she is looking to get rid of. I'm thiking of taking it for a bit of fun.
It is the dark brown colour, totally immaculate, looks like it has never been used in the wet, never welded, with 20k on the clock, I think it's a 1979 car. It has been serviced every 6 months, waxoiled yearly & has every recipt & MOT since new.
She's saying she olny want's £500 for it as I'm family, don'y wanna rip her off though, what's it really worth.

I suggest checking ebay/Autotrader/Mini mags to see what similar Minis are being sold for... I'm guessing that it could be worth anything up to £1,500 (don't quote me on that though!)
If it's in great shape and you fancy owning it, I suggest buying it for £500! I know you don't want to rip your great aunt off, but never look a gift horse in the mouth If not, I suggest checking the selling price and advertise it.. it will sell quickly I would have thought

True, I'll have a close look at it, the last time I saw it 12 months ago it was yotally mint, not a spot of rust anywhere. The levely brown interior was still like new, even the cardboard battery cover is undamaged.
