We have a 1969 Cooper S that is sitting in the garage bored! It's become redundant since we bought a double decker bus!!Problem is we don't know whether to sell or keep it. It's a beautiful car and has done lots at shows. Thing is if we decided to sell I'm not sure of the best place to advertise it. Any advice welcome.

If your serious about selling, one of my best friends is Paul, the art editor for Miniworld.
I can put you in touch with him and he can advise you of where to sell it for top ££££
Yeh, I was going to suggest MiniWorld, MiniMag, etc... Or visit local websites/forums and make a post there advertising your car (if you DO decide to sell, I'll post the details on my forum ) I know people who are always looking and at least then your little car will go to somebody who will love her!
Go on, keep it. It will gain in value over the years.
By the way, what sort of bus do you have? I've always fancied a drive in a London Transport RT or RF (the single deck version). My all-time favourite bus is the 1935 AEC/London Transport 'Q-Type', the first bus with a mid-engine and well before its time really. On the 'Q-Type' the engine rotated anti-clockwise when viewed from the front (today's useless information!).

that would be a harrington legionnaire bodied Bedford VAL, only 42 where ever made, only 4 survive.
one has been restored as a bus, the other three are in the process of been converted into italian job replicas.
interestinly enough, the original coach from the film was scrapped in the 1990's, it actually ended up in the garden of edith bowmens uncle. us youngsters will recognises edith as a D.J from radio one.
dread to think what one would cost to buy now-a-days.

Nearly bought one in the early 80s for silly money (cheap).
Didn't really know much about Minis then and went for an immaculate '72 1000 which as a young driver ragged it to death and had to sell it for peanuts 3 years later.

you will be thinking of the two tone blue one owned by someone in your neck of the woods. its a early plaxton panorama and has a big oval grill and orange skylights. a company in bridlington restored it. it has a name on the side in gold letters
the only other one round you is the orange plaxton elite (i think) that lives near beverley. that has 'no-where' on the grill in a sex pistols stylee.(and is owned by a fellow pistonheader)
not that im a bus spotter or anything, but theres only about 40 odd of these 6 wheeled beasts still about...........
