Noah car cover
Discussion
I purchased a Noah Car Cover (CoverCraft) a while ago and it's been very good up until last week, when with the stormy weather we've been having blew the back end of the cover up and over the front side.
Does anyone know how to lock this cover down? When i received the cover it came with two green elastic clips but I can't figure out how it supposed to lock the cover down? It's supposed to be anti-theft - how does that work? Surely a padlock is no use as the clips can be undone easily!?
I didn't recieve any instructions when I got it so any help would be appreciated!!
Unhelpful, I know, but I would expect a Noah car cover to allow a multitude of animals into your P&J and then set it floating merrily on it's way for 40 days and 40 nights ...
(Unhelpful mode off.)
What sort of car is it? What about some heavy clothes pegs to clip it to some inconspicuous brackets 'round the back? Or a length of cord to run under the car?
Oli.

Actually it's been good for the last 3 months on my 996... custom fit so really hugs those curves! It comes with 2 lengths of cord that are supposed to be run under the car - so I can tie the cover down - I want to know how I can lock the cords in place so no one can remove the cover and do a runner with it. It's supposed to be anti-theft by using a padlock - but I can't work out just how that supposed to work.

I have the same cover for my GT3. There is a plastic ring on either side of the cover when its fitted to the car. Cover should come both with a bit of string to tie on the underside of the car and a security cable that is threaded through the rings and padlocked at one side.

Ahh ok! I'm missing this security cable, which is a shame. Still will probably start using the green cords thats it came with to keep the cover fixed on the car. Cheers.
Quick question. Does this manufacturers cover solve the problem of scratch marks on the paint. The cover I have at the moment (Dupont Tyvek material) is a pain since it puts tiny little scratches on all the sharp edges of the car.

I have the cable, but if really bad winds are forecast I also use a few large foldback clips (fancy bulldog clips) to secure the cover front & back - works very well.
This sounds like the answer to my flappy car cover problems ..
Explain what foldback clips are ??
.. And where do you attach them .. under the PU?

Like I said, fold back clips are like bulldog clips. Available from most good stationery stores.
I fold the cover under the PU & clip it in place. Need 4 or 5 for each end.

NEWSFLASH
Ballcock has a nip and tuck with the use of bulldog clips.
His flappy bits have been banished for ever
