As we are nearing the end of the year let's see your favorite shot you have taken during 2006. This is mine, all the elements came together, I love the colours in it, the period props worked and Lisa is a great Model...

Not technically the best shot - it's badly underexposed for one (but I quite like the look) - but my g/f's little nephew's cheeky smile perfectly captured the moment, and his character.

Looking back I don't think I've taken any good photos at all! It's very much been a learning year for me, with a new camera, new lenses, and now a nice new tripod, so I'm really hoping to improve next year.

I guess its between these two, but I stress, I know they ar enot good photos, but they are the best of a bad bunch.

Mmmm hard choice - so many things taken this year...

From a motoring perspective this is pleasant.

And another pleasing one, not motor related is this one

Hard to choose, have a few from various Goodwood events that I am really happy with. However as 06 was my first ever Le Mans it might be this

It is probably the that captures how I remember Le Mans being and for me at least brings back fond memories.

Hard disk crash lost my best shot of 2006 before i'd even got home, so here's the second best (in-camera compression has nailed most of the detail though, this is the shot that made me shoot RAW from then on):

This is a tough one! I'm sure I can think of something else later but here are the ones I've thought of off my head. Best? Maybe not, but one of the favourites.

For motorsports;

For general;

wow, some great and diverse pics here, it seems the only thing i can take pictures of are cars (& the odd bike)...found it very hard to choose just 2, so my criteria had to come down to the shots i'm most technically happy with. you've got to make choices somehow!
