I was trying to work out what models they were restoring, I think they are quite late models. If you look at the pic of the red one on the website the hinges are the internal sort.

Well thats torn it!

Unless they are reshelling them or doing so fairly serious cutting around the A panels. Newton Commercials must be rubbing their hands together in glee.

doesn't internal door hinges mean post 1969? just a thought - my car has a pre 1973 shell and has no external hinges.

Will be a mk3 then, the Italian job cars were mk2, external hinges but square rear lights!

They weren't real Coopers. It looked to me like early 90's Coopers, pre-injection. They certainly had A+ engines anyway.

Half a job I thought they did really, still £10K on each car...

Though I cant see where that money has gone really, given that they didnt pay any labour...
