Anyone know if the Sporting Bears Dream Rides event will be taking place at the NEC this year? Went to it last year in May when it was part of the NEC Sportscar Show 2002, and it was worth the price of admission just to watch the cars taking part in the Dream Rides event (plus to watch the faces of the victims/punters as they began their ride at 80mph through the car park......)

I'm told its been on at the NEC for several years but I can't seem to find anything on the net about a 2003 NEC event, just something about one down at Goodwood. Anyone know if theres one at the NEC this year?

I was interested in doing this too! Flasher might have some details as he was involved last year.

Where are the details for Goodwood?

I was told by a Friend that the that show has also been canceled, due to not enough poeple at the gates. I hope I'm wrong as have finished my Ult last year in July, so missed last years show. Also will be missing the Dream Rides at Supercar Sunday as that cancelled this year.

What the hells happening to all These shows ???

Thanks for that lot everyone. Looks like it might not be on this year then, which is a bit strange considering what a great success it was said to be in the Bear's report at www.sportingbears.org.uk/SBMC_Bearfacts_page45.htm

Like you GTRCLIVE, I can't understand whats happening to all these excellent shows - it could be people like the NEC moneygrabbing by making the cost of hosting a show sky-high.
