Nuts for your TVR

Steve Heath bolts for your suspension

Steve Heath's bolts
Steve Heath's bolts
Steve Heath has expanded his suspension bolt kit range for Griffiths and Chimaeras to include Cerberas, Tuscans, T350C and S series cars. The kits range from simple sets for shocks to complete kits that cover the wishbones as well. Each bolt is supplied with washers and nyloc nuts and are zinc plated.

Why? Winter is often the time to give your pride and joy some TLC. If you are renewing the complete suspension or simply changing shocks for a Griffith, Chimaera, Cerbera, Tuscan or S series car then the last thing you want to do is to end up spending hours searching for replacement nuts and bolts on a Saturday afternoon.

The suspension bolts can be difficult to remove, so they often need cutting and replacing. They are not usually stocked by local DIY stores and ordering them individually can be very expensive and time-consuming.

Kits start from £5.99 inc P&P to the UK and VAT. Call 01908 375537 or:

I'm pretty sure it's the same as the T350C/Cerbera/Tuscan but I haven't had a Tamora up on the ramps to check the bolt sizes.
If there is anyone with a Tamora that can help, then I'm sure I can do something.

Bought some bolts from Steve last year, after being hamfisted and stripping a thread.

Very quick delivery, and good prices too.

You can never have too many bolts (its a man thing.....)

Highly recommended, bought a set earlier this year for the Chim and fitted them when the bushes and shocks were changed.

Hi

If Shpub is reading this thread can he please confirm that the bolts are the correct tensile strength, etc. for the suspension AND are they shiny and weather resistant?

Yes. These are NOT unquenched, untempered, low quality carbon steel high street store specials.
They are zinc plated so as shiny and as weatherproof as zinc plated fasteners are.

I have used the same bolts on my competition Wedge, Griffith and Cerbera.

Cheers shpub

Looks like I'm going to place an order then. Keep up the good work on behalf of us TVR tinkerers.

After plenty of time spent fiddling around with suspension and stuff, If your going anywhere near your suspension with a set of spanners I'd say the first thing you need is a set of these bolts from steve and a tub of copperslip...

If your working on suspension dont even bother thinking about using the old nuts and bolts..

putting a pack like this together is a god send.... If you tried to put it together your self you'd either

a) end up with the wrong strength
b) have to buy 9 of each bolt when you only want 1 ( thanks landrover!!!)
c) discovery you've forgotten somthing halfway through putting it back together...

But what about his nuts?

1. They have embedded nylon rings to stop them falling off.
2. They come in a variety of sizes.

Trev could do with some shiny nuts. Perhaps I'll treat him for Christmas.

Your name rings a bell, Ricardo! scratchchin

All you have to to do is ask.

The problem is that I don't come across many pre-M cars at all which makes it very difficult to do anything for them.
If you have the bolt diameters and lengths, I can put a kit together.
