Hey guys, i am after a camera for chritsmas. Im not really into photography. I just want a good digital camera that i can use for holidays, car meets and general photo opportunities. I bought my partner a sony dcs-w50 cybershot thingy! and i love that. This is the kind of camera i am looking for. It must record movies with sound and be at least 5/6 megapixels!

What can you guys suggest, should i just go ahead and get a cybershot or should i look further afield!?

Woza.

Check out www.steves-digicams.com/best_cameras.html

And have a look at his latest reviews also if something you're interested in hasn't made the best list yet.

Had a break-in yesterday anyway my Nikon 7900 was taken (amongst other stuff).

What's the best replacement - a P1 or one of the Leica lensed Panasonic jobs? I'm after something compact & ideally quick at saving pics?

many thanks,

woza

The Gadget Show reviewed 3 compact didgitals this week:

Sony DSC-N2
Canon Ixus 900Ti
Fuji F31

You can read their review online with the link above

The Fuji won all the tests for image quality, speed, etc., and highly recommended
