Chart showing S2 running costs vs. mileage

I recently brought a 1990 S2 in good nick with a comprehensive service history. In order to get a better idea of what work has been done I collated all the receipts into a spreadsheet and included the mileage and costs. I then turned that into a chart showing expenditure against mileage. I've uploaded the chart as a jpeg on my members profile - if anyone is interested in the complete spreadsheet email me. (I have no receipts for the first 6 years, just the stamps in the service hand book)

If I am reading it right, your car has had £16k spent on it in the last ten years and has covered about 30k miles in that time, giving averages of £1600 and 3000 miles per year. At first I though this was a lot if it is only service and maintenance costs.
But, very roughly I've spent about £2.5k on mine in three years. However I do all my own servicing/repairs/mods which probably adds up to something like 100 hours a year (or £5000 per year at indie rates!) - Maybe your figures are a bargain after all.
