Dear all

Congrats to all who made the rally today, sadly my T350 and ! had to stay at home...been looking at some of the pics and they are great.

Just wondering if it would be fun to collect info re. who had any trouble on the run today- 400+ TVRs, many travelling many miles in pouring rain, general public would probably expect 50% of them to be on recovery trucks by now - so, how many people had problems, and who had a problem free run??

Could be a good indication of how reliable they really are - or not, as the case may be!!

Suggested format for posting:

Model - Year - Problems (if any) or None if everything went smoothly!

Cheers,

Jerry

There was a Tuscan who's clutch went just before Picadilly - really annoyed the cabbies so well done that man
Even better was the sight of a load of TVR's doing the Whitehall lap & a broken down Volvo in the middle of the lot.

Just thinking - might be an idea to post how many miles you did too! Apart from anything else, it would be great to know how far some people have travelled for this event..

4.2 cerbera. Clutch pedal went to the floor in Picadilly but pumping it got me enough back to keep going. It just didn't like being cooked for 3 hours at 100. It was fine as soon as we got going again.

We only saw 5 broken down TVR's, but a broken down volvo, Aston Martin, BMW 5 series...

I saw three others with problems - I'll not embarass them here but no doubt they'll be along soon.

However, balls of steel - that's what you need driving the baddest cerbera and it does that in Haymarket, and you get out in that suit!!! Respect!! bow

Oh, despite the car-killing traffic, no problems at all, 4.5 cerb, 99. driving

Cheers

Thanks to the brilliant TVR workers in '99 who built my car and Racing Green who have provided excellent service over the past 4 years - my Chimaera 450 didn't miss a beat all day and the temp never went over 90 degrees even after the tourist fun in Picadilly and then the long wait in Haymarket. God I love my TVR!!

Even in 3 hours of stop/start traffic through Piccadilly. I absolutely love this car, god I'm gonna miss her when she's gone! cry

Great to meet everyone today and sorry to see a few did have a problems, especially the green wedge in front of me down Whitehall. I really hope it's not as bad as it looked. yikes
