Out practicing fast shutter speed shots at a local water park... I knew I had my settings right but still tricky to catch the exact shot... pretty pleased with this one though. I should add that I am a complete beginner and just learning the basics!!

Great stuff. Couldn't you have asked him to juggle firesticks too?

What was that - 800th?

Thanks for the kind words... as I say, bit jammy really! Picture is soooo much crisper before it's squashed - if you click on it you get a slightly better version. On that point, is there anything I can do to maximise the quality of the image on the forum - it's saved at 800 x 658 which looks fine but when it appears on the forum it looks a lot worse...

Oh well, that's my excuse anyway!

Took a teeny bit off the left had side and straightened it slightly but other than that just as you see it.

1/1000, f3.2 ISO 160... we had such fantastic light today even my modest Fujifilm finepix 602 could handle it.

Resize to 750px wide, thats the forum max size.

I resize all mine to 700 wide, its a good size for email viewing as well.

Nice shot.

As mentioned above, resize the image to about 700x??? before you post it on the forum. Photoshop/Paint Shop Pro/Whatever will do a much nicer job of shrinking it down than the forum software does.

Really should get out with my camera more, and stop using the 'dont have time' excuse for everything
