that new Maser Spyder looks great..not in kit car yellow perhaps. Once again though they waste everyones time roadtesting silly little fartboxes that no car enthusiast is bothered about.Whats the point

The Drivel 100 drives me mad every time. They had four votes for the Ka and the Smart in the style bit of the program. The Daewoo only got one vote from their invited panel. So they score it 14,14,13... Pointless points system anyway... don't know why I'm rising to it. Don't know why I watched it... Maser report wasn't too bad though. At least Penny Mallory wasn't driving along with a poxy jelly on her lap though.

They also showed the car driving on the wrong side of the road in Italy at speed. Isn't there some standards watchdog that will now sentance the whole production team to Broadmore (sp?) for such a crime? Am I rambling...?

The point is that they claim to satisfy the vast majority of viewers, and the sad truth is that they probably do.

We have become a nation of politically correct sheep, ruled by vociferous pressure groups, and not many of us have the guts (or the opportunity) to stand up and rubbish the current obsession with speed limits.

Don't get me wrong here - reasonable speed limits have their place - but next to nothing is done about driving standards. Result? Accidents will continue unabated, and your 'silly little fartboxes' will sell like hotcakes.

mcnab,
on the whole I agree with that, but the type of person who buys a Doowop Mostly or whatever will be watching crossroads not a car magazine

Take your point apache.

Maybe they think that if they include a Maserati in the program they have to do something to offset such heresy!

The driving the 'city cars' around the inside of a Halfords store was the most ridiculous thing I have even seen on a motoring programme.

The highlight of the show was surely that bloke's customised Honda Accord.

I'm sorry but that bloke must be a massive, massive w*nker if he thinks doing that to a Honda Acrid is going to make it look cool.

I'd have the MG any day.

Cods! Even with three edits I can't get the quotes to do what I want.

Ted, I need the H+H post preview option.
