JAMIE ROGERS OF CASTLE RACE ENGINES WALKS ON WATER........

and as a result I WILL be going to the ball in my Chim with new engine. Jamie and I had been let down by a certain engine supplier and realising how important it was for me to attend ( in said Chim) he offered to wang in one of his 5 litre jobbies and then replace it with the 5.3 when it was ready- ALL AT NO EXTRA CHARGE. How about that for customer service.?

I collected the car 2 days ago,(Jamie having had only a day and a half to sort it) but shortly after started having starting problems. Swiftly on the blower the result of which was Jamie driving down to London from the West Midlands today and spending 4 hours of his own time sorting it. Net result- one mean Bad-assmf of a Chim !

Can't thank you enough Jamie and if this 5 is anything to go by I cant wait to frighten myself in the 5.3 !! And if anyones interested I'll keep you posted on the 5.3 and other goodies I'm having attached ?

Simon,

Glad that you are happy with your lot, he is a good bloke, did my engine earlier this year after I had a bad experience with a supplier, he called me at about 5p.m. tonight to see if I needed him to call round and sort my car out....on the way back from your place, probably an additional 120+ miles on his day!

Luckily enough the problem had been solved.

I know you are down at the Thunder meet in the morning hopefully we can have a chat.

It would be good if he makes it down too, but I know that he has lot's of work on just now, all the same it would be to see his silly face!

I also cannot praise Jamie highly enough - I was due to pick up some bits today, but when I called to find the unit he told me he had been called to a customer in London, and that my bits were left with the guys in the next door unit and to sort payment next week.
Considering he'd never even met me before I thought that was fantastic.

So, looks like we both got a result - thanks Jamie, I'll speak to you Monday
