Trottlebody 2,9 same as 2,4?

Hello out there,

Is there anyone who can tell me whether the throttle body of a 2.4 v6 is the same as the 2.9?
It looks exactly the same....why do i want to know? I bought a complete new one on ebay with everything on it incl TP for gbp 40,-

Not sure but i do know there are definitely 2 versions of the plenum chamber (the alloy bit that covers the injectors and inlet manifold. One has longer 'legs' than the other making it taller on your engine - not sure what model it is off - sure someone will be along soon to fill in the details!

I've found the answer.
No, they are not the same. Only difference is that the 2,9 throttle valve (butterfly?) has a larger diameter. 2.4 has a dia of 4,0 cm and the 2,9 is 4,4 cm that means that the bodies themselves are NOT interchangable.
