Not that I actually care what the MPG of my M12-3 is, but, out of interest I measured it over the last fill up. I was quite surprised at 22. Does that sound about right ?
On a long run down to Plymouth I pressed on a bit (but not a license killing speeds if you get my drift), and got 23.5 mph. On the way back with lots of time to spare I went not faster than 70, and had a very smooth run. 24mpg. Moral is....we'll you can work that bit out
That was on the old setup. I'm sure it'll be a little worse now.....
My 2.5l MPG history is here

Highway only driving best was 23.8 mpg (21.5-23.8 range) at a "brisk pace". Only a couple of long trips.
Overall average since I've owned it 17.3 mpg including track days and autocrosses.

Autocrosses

In the US style of autocrosses that is... (cones in a wide open lot) Sorry to panic you
