Like the man said, Thursday night at The Hautboy. Only eight places left for the Christmas meal on December 2nd so be quick. We might even have some news on the almost completed website and hopefully some ferry information regarding the Diamonds are Forever 2007 Champagne Run.

Karen - can we stay on the maybe list for the Xmas party? If Mrs K has not produced by then we'd like to come. Obviously if you get firm bookings then scratch us off and we'll join you after the meal for a drink!

The Hautboy is located in Ockham between Ripley and Horsley. Travelling from Guildford, head up the A3 towards London. Take the SEND / RIPLEY turn off ( B2216 ) and go through Ripley village. At the roundabout under the A3 take the right hand exit to OCKHAM ROAD NORTH ( B2039 ) then take first left at the War Memorial ( about 1 mile from the roundabout ) and The Hautboy is 400 yards on the right hand side.

Travelling from London on the A3 towards Guildford and take the RIPLEY turn off, turn left at the roundabout into Ockham Road ( B2039 ) then take the first left at the War Memorial.

Is this the last meet at the warm beer counter? Served by somebody who has no idea how to treat the punters and no worth while cellar person who knows their stuff..(and that's only the liquids)...As far as the food is concerned it's over priced restaurant stylee stuff that just does not make it.
