Dear All,
not strictly exclusively TVR but I was wondering if anyone had advice on where to buy (online?) number plates for the TiV. The reason for changing them is that the existing plates have the name of a (small independent) dealer as a 'slogan' at the bottom of the plate, and since they had nothing to do with the sale or servicing of the vehicle I don't see why they should get free advertising.
Any advice regarding on-plate gubbins (like country ID), or indeed a fitting replacement slogan for a TVR?
I did see a site - demonplates - but £29 seems a tad steep.

www.pimpmyplate.com/ - I had one from there - arrived nice and quick. Online preview pretty accurate too.

ANother vote for fancyplates. I had mine done with a Union Jack below the Euro flag with a blue border to match the colour of the car. Looks good. You can also ave TVR logos or your own text added.

Most importantly should you have a chim they do the translucent rear numberplates !

..again have always used fancyplates and have found them v.good quality, used pimpmyplate/ezplates once and never will again, totally cocked up the design and quality was poor, they even threatened me with legal action when I tried to return the plateslaugh

Just to close the loop - I looked at fancyplates but their website would not display my plate properly. They have a caveat on the site saying not to worry if it does that etc etc, but I went with demonplates in the end. Pricey, but got exactly what I asked for in ~24hrs, and they look ace. A Union Jack in the corner says it all, every TVR should have one. J
