I didn't know things were getting this bad for 996 owners:-

A 1998 993 Turbo 27000miles going for £58k.

A 2002 996 Turbo 24000miles going for £54k.

I'd pay the extra £4k though

Simple supply and demand....If you are in the market for a late low mileage 993TT then you have only a few cars to choose from....higher mileage cars are available in the £40-45k range.
If however you want a 996TT, looking on autotrader,Ph and Porsche OPC you have any where between 50-100 cars to consider.

and facelift 996 turbos are much mor desirable as they have better interior kit and PCM2 if specc'd.

You can buy a late 2002 tt, put a private plate on it at if the condition is right you would never know the difference between that and a late 2005 model

Sure, very much higher mileage cars.......I was just trying to point out that a '98 car and a 2002 car often do not have the same mileage...a more representative mileage figure on a 993TT would result in a cheaper car, this making a more suitable comparison.

Personally unless you are buying a known lhd car I think there is potentially quite a risk involved when buying a TT for £35k.

Did you ever sell that leary C4S that was all over the forums for a while?

It'll sell though - you can bet on it. Nice low mileage cars are getting scarcer.

Someone who wants to sell, someone who wants to furrow their beard whilst contemplating what a valuable car they own.
