You've forgotten Trevor Wilkinson (he started the company - without him TVR wouldn't have existed)

So was Arthur Lilley and without whose money, the Lilleys would never have acquired TVR!

Gerry Marshall!!!

Don't forget the involvement of the Barnet Motor Company with Martin Lilley.

I honestly think that besides the launch of the Griff and Chimp by Peter Wheeler the involvement of Gerry and American Genious who stuck a V8 in a TVR are the most important events in the marques history.

I agree with that !! In the first place there were Jack Griffith, George Clarke & David Hives who developed the first V8 TVR and after that Gerry Marshall who raced them.
I wish I was there at the time.

Sorry guys, this is yet another thread that will get hi-jacked. Please do not make ANY references to directors/managers at TVR. I appreciate that this is not intended as a derogatory thread, but I'm sure you can see that even singling out certain directors for praise will cause some irritation in the current rather over-sensitive climate. Thanks for your understanding.
